Bribing ~K~

I love taking pictures, ~K~ on the other hand does not.
She will whine, and gripe, and sometimes even cry when I ask her to pose for me, or to be my model.

So, I had to get "creative"  As in bribing her with candy. And lucky for me any type of candy will do-so far!

I still get the "are we done yet" looks though.  I just keep clicking away

And eventually I get some poses I'm happy satisified with.

And I always tell her to make a silly face for me for being so good, along with that and the candy, everyones happy!

Mirror, Mirror on the wall

Where are the prettiest girls of them all?

She's in there....

Keep looking....

There they are!

My son

Is looking more and more like a teenager everyday.  He is 11 going on 21, attitude and all!  At least I can still talk him into taking his picture without him biting my head off-for now, and at least he still smiles for me-for now.

Trying my hand at panning

After a few times on the carousel and about 100 or so pictures later, trying to get some good panning shots proves more difficult than it looks, here is what I have come up with, a few of my favorites too, I might add.  ~C~ is a good subject to practice on, he does not feel the need to have a death grip around the horses (or daddy's) neck, unlike his little sister ~K~.
Oh and panning by the way simply means the background is out of focus, or blurry, and your subject is clear.

Her first taste of applesauce

The doctor recommended to us that we could start introducing solid foods at 4 months old.
Baby ~E~, on the other hand, begged to differ.

She was definitely curious about it, but after a few spoonfulls she decided that she just wasn't up to trying new things.  It wasn't until she was 5 months old that she was really interested in eating new foods. (I guess she showed that doctor not to tell her what to do!)

~E~ watching TV

I dont know what she was watching, but she was glued to it!

It must have been a comercial, because she would tell me all about it,

then go right back to watching "her show"

"Our" bunny

This cute little guy showed up in our yard a couple of times, but at first we could only look at him through the window.  He would run under the fence when he heard the door open.  I guess one day he either got brave enough or hungry enough to let us get close to him.  We tossed pieces of lettuce at him to nibble on to gain our trust.

After a few minutes of coaxing, he was eating out of the palm of our hands, literally.  He would let the kids pet him and touch his ears and tail, but he drew the line at holding him.

I think he must have been someones pet that got loose, because he was as gentle as ever.  He stayed for quite awhile with us in the yard this day and even came back a couple more times too.

Eventually, ~K~ thought she would "follow in his footsteps" and hop along with him.
