~E~ gets casts

Poor baby ~E~ was born with really bad claw foot, and the only way to fix this was to have her feet set in casts for 4 weeks.  She was a mad little girl when the doctor was putting them on, she screamed at him. The drive home wasnt too bad, she slept because she didnt take a nap before her appointment, and the evening went ok, but bedtime was a little rough.  She wasnt used to having something on her feet, so she had a hard time getting comfortable.

The next day, she was courious as to what thoes things were, she spent quite a while looking them over, touching them, and drooling on them.

After a day or two she got comfortable with them, but the general public was not, I got asked every time we went out "How did she break her legs?"  I didnt know if I should laugh or cry at this, but after a bit of explaining that she had claw foot, most people said they knew someone who was born with the same thing.  She was a strong willed little girl, she wasnt going to let things like casts slow her down, she would try to get up on her knees to crawl.  She was 6 months old, and getting courious about how to become mobile.  She also learned how to sit up all by herself during this time.
She got her casts off after 4 weeks of being in them, and got new straight laced shoes she was supposed to wear 23 hours a day, but hated wearing them worse than the casts, and would scream, cry and kick them off after I put them on her.  Like I said - strong willed!

First day of school

It's ~C~'s Moms favorite time of year, back to school!!  He was excited to start a new school this year.

~K~ was a little sad to send him off,

So she gave him the rundown of her expections before we took him to school. (Thoes arms crossed crack me up)

Three little monkeys....

Laying in the bed,
Being so silly,
And Momma said,
"I love you silly little monkeys, all on the bed"

First sippy cup

While playing outside, I brought the girls a drink of water, I didnt think ~E~ would be able to drink out of a straw since she was only 5 months old, but low and behold, she did it and drank about half of the cup.

And loved every minute of it.  She kept giggling with happiness that she was able to do it.

Just watering the dog!

It was a hot August day, and Boomer needed a drink of water.

And ~K~ needed to get her feet wet

And since she does not believe in wearing clothes, she might as well go ahead and get her hair wet.

Then she needed to cool off with a drink of water too!

A little more for Boomer!

Testing the water to make sure its "just right" for him

Since it's SO HOT, she needed to cool off, so she soaked herself with the water hose again.

All done

Lights, Camera, Action

The Wiggles are ~K~'s FAVORITE show right now, so when we heard that they were going to be coming in concert, we just had to take her to see them.  She was so nervous/excited that she was shaking so bad, but once they came out and started singing she realized what was going on, and she started singing and dancing along with them.

This is Jeff.  He likes to sleep.

Here is Sam, he loves to sing.

Anthony likes to eat, mostly fruit salad- yummy yummy.

Captain Feathersword
And Murray-the king of guitars

Riding in the big red car.

They sang all of ~K~'s favorite songs.  She knew almost every one on them.

She was so excited to see the ballerinas too.

They sang "Hot Poppin Popcorn" One of ~C~'s favorite wiggle songs.  We didnt take him this year, but after seeing the show, I think he would have liked it, so if they ever come back, we will have to make it a family outing.

Dorthy the Dinosaur, ~K~ got a stuffed dinosaur that looks like her.  She just loves Dorthy.

She laughed at Jeff trying to hoola hoop.

One of her favorite songs, besides Fruit Salad, is the shimmy shake.

Henry the Octopus

Wags the Dog

This was the happiest girl in the world this day, and she talked about the concert for the next month. She also LIVED in her new Wiggles shirt for the next 2 months.  She didnt even want me to wash it, and when I finally was able to pry it away from her to wash it, she would stand at the dryer when it was done and have to put it back on.
