We went for a photo playdate to try to get some nice winter poses, but as usual my girls didn't see what the big fuss was about.
They faught with each other,

Ate strawberries,

And were just plain silly, but thats life with kids, and ya just gotta love it!

Here are my favorites though:

Flowers and Football

Who said girls can't play football?

Garden Buddies

For Thanksgiving we decided to travel to see my Grandparents that I haven't seen in years.  It was so nice to see them and catch up, and introduce them to the girls.  ~C~ and Great Grandpa hit it off right away and ~C~ seemed to be his buddy for the weekend.  They did everything together, cooking dishes, shopping and gardening.  Grandpa planted some carrots and now they needed to be picked.  It was freezing outside, like 20 degrees, but they got all bundled up and tackled the job at hand.

They got quite a few carrots to last awhile.

~C~ picked out the prized possession.

Turkey Day Shirts

In preparation for Thanksgiving, our playgroup made handprint turkey shirts.  I helped ~K~ draw her hand and then she decorated the rest of it.

She is hard at work on her masterpiece.

Christmas Photoshoot

This was the day that I spent all morning getting everyone dressed up and out of the house early to take family Christmas pictures.  This was also the day that I learned that ~K~ got carsick when watching a DVD player while I drove.

Lucky for me ~E~ wasn't being camera shy and posed really well.

Trains, Trains, and more Trains

~K~ is starting to like Thomas the Train, so I thought that I would take her to see actual trains and get up close to them.

She enjoyed climbing on them and looking at them.

Halloween Costumes

These are the costumes that the girls were going to wear trick or treating, but with ~K~'s procedure taking place on Nov 1 we changed our minds about taking them out.  ~K~ wasnt allowed to eat any thing at all the day before her procedure, so instead of depriving her of her beloved "hany" (candy) we opted not to go at all.  To make up for the missed event, I dressed them up in their costumes and we had a "candy toss"

But not before she did a cheer for me:

Then she grabbed her basket, and was ready for the fun to begin.

She thought this was the best thing EVER, and even talked about it for the next month!

~E~ didn't know what to think about candy falling from the sky, but soon realized it was great fun.
