New Hat!

When we were at my Grandparents house for Thanksgiving, my Grandma and I found this patten online to make these cute fleese hats. I finally got around to making one for ~K~.

She makes such a great model.  She loved her hat, she would always put it on and say "My hat"

Who needs Toys...

When you have the dogs food to play in!

This is ~E~'s new favorite passtime, she likes to throw the food out onto the floor or plop it into the water bowl.  I will say "~E~ what are you doing?" and she will look at me and laugh, or she will pretend that she doesnt hear me, like she's doing right now.  Now when I try to pick her up and take her into the living room to play with actual toys she kicks and crys like I'm taking her favorite piece of candy away!  Oh the drama!

 Getting a brownie batter facial is pretty good too!

Maybe she had a LITTLE too much sugar, this is one crazy face she is making!

Christmas

My 3 wonderful little monkeys, all dressed up and ready to tear into those exciting new presents waiting for them.

He has this look on his face like "what the heck" but he uses this cup everyday.

Is there a doctor in the house?  There is now.

And we cant forget about the coveted pillow pet.  Its official now, every kid in America has one!

A real backpack.  Now she doesn't have to put necklaces around her shoulders and pretend those are a backpack.

Oh yes, and we cant forget about the ever coveted cowboy hat that I heard about for 3 whole months.

Something new to watch!  I didn't get to see him for the rest of the day, or weekend for that matter.  We did get out first chance though to go to the doctor (the real doctor not ~K~ doctor) because before all this fun, ~C~ was playing with Boomer in his bedroom and fell and hit his head on the base board of his bed and got a mild concussion.  Its a good thing he got a new TV for Christmas because he was on the injured list for 6 weeks.

Yum, Corn on the Cob

Every time we ate corn on the cob for dinner, we would cut it off the cob for ~E~, thinking that she would'nt like it on there and it would be easier for her to pick up the kernals and put them in her mouth.  Boy were we wrong- we could'nt figure out why she kept crying through dinner one night. I kept trying to give her drinks, more meat, or cut up corn and she just wasnt having it. 

 So after I cleared my mind and took a look at what I was holding, I gave in and handed it to her.  

 

Ahhhhh the sound of silence, and a happy baby.

We have since learned not to cut the corn off the cob for her.
