Strawberry Fields Forever

This was meant to be a fun day in the sun, but ~K~ aka "lil' princess" thought it was more of a chore than a treat.

It started when she had to walk on the grass and not on the red carpet.


I heard that sigh that ~K~ is known for every time I showed her where a strawberry was and told her to pick it and put it in her box.


She did do good for a while, until she got board and put that throwing arm to use, giggling at strawberries flying through the air.

She's telling me she's ready to go.

But first, she showed me her loot.

Six weeks old

It is so hard to believe that it has been six weeks already,


but this little girl has just been growing and is full of life.


Such a precious baby girl.

Two little monkeys

These two monkeys had so much fun climbing at the park. Who really needs a jungle gym when you have trees?

A Boy and

his dog are the best of friends.

These two do everything together, from lying on the floor watching tv to wrestling. If ~C~ goes outside to play, Boomer will run from the door to the window, crying the whole time, until ~C~ comes back in.

Rub-a-dub, dub

~E~ enjoys taking a bath, and luckily ~K~ doesn't mind sharing hers.

She's a big helper-washing little sisters hair.


And rinsing her off is ~K~'s favorite part (~E~'s too!)

Bluebonnets

Bluebonnets are the Texas state flower and taking pictures in them are a HUGE Texas tradition, apparently ~K~ didn't get the memo. Being the first true Texan in our family-you would think this would be in her blood, not to mention they are flowers!- and her being a girly girl, you would think this would be right up her alley. Well this is how it turned out:

"Kark"

better known as "park" to the rest of us. We enjoyed the sunshine, beautiful weather and spending time with our friends.

~K~ enjoyed running around,

and most of all SWINGING!

Nap time?

After playing at the park all morning, we decided to do a little shopping but these girls were tuckered out. They slept all through Hobby Lobby just as pictured. I got so many comments about "how could she sleep like that".

It's not delivery,

it's Schwans! And I'm gonna sit here till it's done.

~C~ in the fridge

This is a common sight at our house, with ~C~ being a growing boy, I mean teenager. Can someone say second mortgage!

~E~ just

wanted to say HI

New fashion statement

Being the diva that ~K~ is, she wants to introduce a new trend. Here is how it's done.

Step 1: put your shirt on
Step 2: put your arm up through the bottom
Step 3: pull your arm out through the top
and viola! Now your rockin' the next new thing!

~E~ rolls over!

At 4 weeks old!! She gets very vocal and fidgety when she is hungry and apparently today I was not getting that bottle ready fast enough.


So she decided to roll over and see where I was in the process. I was in shock to see this!

Hush

New words are among the long list of things ~K~ is learning at this stage in her life. Lately she has picked up the word hush and for some reason thinks she has enough authority to tell ~E~ to hush, weather she is making noise or not. She also takes it upon herself to tell the dog to hush. She is not brave enough to tell Mom or Dad to hush-YET. We'll see how long it takes for her to try!
